Since two days we see the pictures about the earthquake, the tsunami and also the nuclear power plant situation in Japan.

Please let me express my sincere compassion with you and all the people in Japan. We think a lot about the affected people and hope that you and your familiy are well. This is certainly the biggest challenge your country is facing since many years.

We wish you and the people of Japan the strength and patience to deal with this unusual situation. Be assured, that our thougts and prayers are with you!

We suffer with the Japanese people after these tremendous catastrophies and we hope that things from now on will develop in a better way, we hope very strongly that at least the nuclear problem can be solved.

It's terrible what's happening in Japan

Yesterday we had a concert with the choir for the anniversary of Vic Nees , the composer, in Neerpelt. The president of the festival, Mr Coninx told they were very concerned about their Japanese friends who will come at the festival in May. I hope everything we be all right at that moment.

Hello Kaki,
It's with great anxiety we every day listen to the news messages on our national radio and television about the horrible earthquake and tsunami your country had to deal with.

We really hope you are doing well and you and all your relatives are ok. We also hope the young musicians from Tokyo are doing well and certainly want to send them our most sincere wishes of luck.

Our thoughts are also with the girls from the Miya Sanjo Og Choir from Sendai city which we had as festival guests during our 2008 vocal festival edition. We see the pictures and images of the city Sendai on our television and are very much worried about their well being. We really hope they are ok. That's why we want to ask you to send them our wishes of good luck and support and please tell them our thoughts are with them and their families.
